Mamma Mia


"I have a dream, a song to sing...la la' la"

This movie is really nice to watch. I like the music. They have been successful to introduce the songs of ABBA again to the audience. So, today I have spent my whole day to search and download these original soundtracks of this movie...hihi (so crazy girl right?).

My thesis does not have much progress because I'm stuck in somewhere...hic. By the way, I have to wait till the end of this month to see "my hero" (yah! it's my advisor who can save me through this!). Ok, I've got to go back to study now... Anyway, enjoy the songs!

A good story


There was a man who is named Fleming, and he was a poor Scottish farmer. One day, while trying to make a living for his family, he heard a cry for help coming from a nearby bog. He dropped his tools and ran to the bog.

There, mired to his waist in black muck, was a terrified boy, screaming and struggling to free himself. Farmer Fleming saved the lad from what could have been a slow and terrifying death. The next day, a fancy carriage pulled up to the Scotsman's sparse surroundings. An elegantly dressed nobleman stepped out and introduced himself as the father of the boy Farmer Fleming had saved.

"I want to repay you," said the nobleman. "You saved my son's life."
"No, I can't accept payment for what I did," the Scottish farmer replied, waving off the offer.
At that moment, the farmer's own son came to the door of the family hovel.

"Is that your son?" the nobleman asked.
"Yes," the farmer replied proudly.

"I'll make you a deal. Let me provide him with the level of education myson will enjoy. If the lad is anything like his father, he'll no doubt grow to be a man we both will be proud of."

And that he did.

Farmer Fleming's son attended the very best schools and in time, he graduated from St. Mary's Hospital Medical School in London, and went onto become known throughout the world as the noted Sir Alexander Fleming, the discoverer of Penicillin.

Years afterward, the same nobleman's son who was saved from the bog was stricken with pneumonia. What saved his life this time? Penicillin.

The name of the nobleman? Lord Randolph Churchill.
His son's name? Sir Winston Churchill.

Lonely Friday






















My roommate went to Bangkok for 2 days. I had to stay alone in the room...so sad.hic. Tonight I cooked some fried tofu with tomato but she was not here. When she was here, she always ate my own cooking food. hehe





This week I was so stressed about my thesis. However, everything turned out to be alright. I got some ideas today. I hope that it will work. The weather is cold now. It's so nice... especially for sleeping and eating...hehe. It's only one more month to Christmas. I wish I could be in Vietnam, miss my home so much... Happy Weekend everyone!

Hold My Hand


Here is a short story with a beautiful message...

Little girl and her father were crossing a bridge.

The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter,'Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don't fall into the river.'
